Half way point

In terms of time, we're halfway thorough this part of the honeymoon. After we return in mid October, we have some other trips which we'll consider part of the honeymoon with a return to Asia and also hopefully a month around South America shortly afterwards. Even though we're only 50% through the trip, we're 100% through the budget but that's not gonna slow us down.

We'd like to say thanks to all of you who joined along on this trip/blog and gave us words of encouragement. A month is beyond the longest Shauna has spent traveling (though she lived in China for an extended time) and we're about to top Ryan's extreme of six weeks shortly.

We've been listening to this song today and it conveys our feelings of how great life can be if one opens up to the world (click on the middle of the pink rose below and turn your speakers on):

I really enjoyed "what a wonderful world" and the accompaning photos. It sure is expensive to spend 88 days traveling around the world but it is worth it for the experience and memories. Continue to enjoy your honeymoon.

Louis Armstrong's "What a wonderful world" is one of my favorite songs, it is relaxing and nice! Whenever I get married, I want to do a 88 day honeymoon too:) Thanks for sharing the fun traveling experiences and I will keep looking at the blog all the time!
